Come feel the joy in our beautiful new space! Learn a wide variety of dance and music styles with African roots. Our fall class schedule includes drumming and dance classes for ages 2-18. Classes include West African, Salsa, Brazilian Percussion, Haitian Drumming, Hip-Hop, Gumboot/Stepping, and African Fusion. Try our NEW “African to Hip-Hop” class, and take a journey through rhythms from past to present!

Fort Greene's Cumbe: Center for African and Diaspora Dance new classes for children and young adults are rooted in African dances that are influenced by hip-hop and Caribbean movements. These dance classes combine dance with African music and drumming.
