Teen Time at the Brooklyn Public Library

Hang out and enjoy books, games, and music with fellow teens. FREE.

Jewish Community House (JCH) of Bensonhurst's Zehut Teen Center

A community center where teens can just "chill" or participate in meaningful activities like community service opportunities, college prep, discussion groups, and various interest clubs. 7802 Bay Parkway. 718-331-6800, ext. 184.

 

Teen Center at Shorefront YM-YWHA of Brighton-Manhattan Beach

Teens can hang out in the Teen Lounge (6-9pm Tuesdays and Thursdays, open basketball 9-10pm; 2-6pm Sundays), with video games and TV, music, games, and snacks. They can also join a teen club (or start their own), participate in a leadership program, sign up for tutoring, and more. 3300 Coney Island Avenue. 718-646-1444, ext. 321.

 

YMCA Teen Centers

Teens are supervised in a safe, fun, and engaging environment that encourages social maturation, while they choose from a variety of activities like recreational sports, fundraisers, and a variety of skill-building workshops. FREE.

Bedford-Stuyvesant YMCA: Open Fridays, 5-9pm. 1121 Bedford Avenue. 718-789-1497.
